Salary: $170,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• Healthcare industry experience is required.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong Azure architecture background in large-scale environments.
• Experience assessing and moving on-premises workloads to Azure.
• Experience developing cloud strategy, governance frameworks, and architecture standards.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies and ecosystem services.
• Experience working directly with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and move initiatives forward.

• Assess existing infrastructure and judge cloud readiness for Azure migration.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams on modernization efforts.
• Drive architectural decisions involving Azure services, governance, scalability, and resilience.
• Design secure, sustainable cloud solutions for business and clinical environments.
• Support data center transformation work and workload migrations.
• Assist with acquisition-related integrations and cloud planning.
• Produce architecture documentation, standards, and implementation guidance.
• Advise leadership on cloud adoption, modernization priorities, and technology investment decisions.

We are in the middle of bringing technology services in-house and moving away from a long-standing managed environment, creating a highly visible opportunity to help shape our long-term cloud direction in a healthcare setting. This direct-hire Cloud Architect role is remote within the U.S., with preference for Middle Tennessee candidates and minimal travel, including occasional trips to Louisville, Kentucky as needed. The salary is $170,000 base, and we are looking for someone comfortable working independently while helping define best practices as our cloud capabilities continue to grow.
