Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic / TechnicianManassas, VATechnicians typically earn between $25–$45 per hour based on skill level and performance. This individual must have previous experience as a technician.Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as Freightliner, Western Star, Autocar, Detroit Diesel, Battle Motors, Cummins, and Alison Transmission to name a few. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more) may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
